Jeff Neurman

Founding Member; Managing Member

Jeff is a founding partner of our firm.  Jeff’s practice focuses on assisting venture capital firms, investment platforms, non-U.S. businesses, investment and real estate funds and companies in all stages of their lifecycles from formation to entry into the public markets and beyond.  Jeff has substantial experience in the corporate and start-up legal worlds in a wide array of sectors, including advising clients on debt and equity financings (both private and public), appropriate legal structure, fund formation, secured lending, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, corporate formations and employment issues.  Jeff also regularly advises clients on commercial leasing transactions and related real estate issues.  Jeff is also a past member of the New York City Bar Association Securities Regulation Committee.

 

After graduating with honors from New York University School of Law in 2000, Jeff joined Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton and was there until 2008 when he left to become the general counsel of a venture capital firm.

 

Prior to enrolling in law school, Jeff graduated from West Virginia University, summa cum laude, with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a major in accounting.  Jeff worked for a time in public accounting and also spent time working for the West Virginia state government, on issues related to economic and community development in rural communities.
